Well, I play and own a range of Fender and Gibson Guitars and over the years I have played most guitars. More recently I have toured with Les Paulís and SGs which fit with the music we play. I was delighted to hook up with Matt and discuss my particular needs for a Rinker custom guitar. I must say I am delighted with the result! This guitar holds up well to many of the premier guitars including my '72 SG deluxe! Firstly Ė itís a beautiful guitar to look at. I have always preferred mahogany as a wood and there is plenty of that here! This wood produces a warm, grungy, bottom edge sound with plenty of middle. Itís light in weight but packs a punch like a heavyweight! Delightfully Ė you can still hear every note as it gives a clear resonant sound all the way from bottom E to octave top E and beyond! The deep-set tenon joint ensures plenty of sustain and the single SD pick up gives punch and volume. What I especially like about the Porkmaestro is its simplicity. One volume and one tone pot is plenty on stage and there is plenty enough tone here to get what you want. Its simple, beautiful, and user- friendly. Whatís not to like? Thanks Matt and Rinker Guitars Ė great job Ė well done!
